The Ten Lives Cat Centre’s facility in New Town needs help to prepare their existing buildings in preparation of their Building Project which will expand the shelter.

Background

The Ten Lives Cat Centre’s ageing facility is no longer meeting the needs of an increased workload due to the doubling of adoptions in the last five years.

It’s time to build a better shelter to ensure that we will be able to meet the needs of the cats and the people who love them – now and in the future.

The Project

We are looking for Master Builders Tasmania members to donate time to assist with Tradies for Tabbies. The projects range from two hours to two days and any help is much appreciated. Some of the works required:

  • Window removed
  • Ceiling raised
  • Internal and external painting
  • Wash bay demolished and relocated

Works can be completed at the convenience of the businesses donating their time.

The Reward

A media launch will be held to formally announce the start of the project which will get traditional media coverage across TV, Radio and Print. Short videos hosted by Ten Lives Ambassador Dave Noonan to be published on our website and social media. There will be a weekly Cat Chat segment on 7HOFM to give updates and thank sponsors every Tuesday at 8.40am.

There will also be regular social media updates of works being done with promotion of the business donating their time.

Ten Lives will host a Tradies for Tabbies thank you BBQ and drinks for all participants, with Triple M broadcasting on site.
