Cat Centre during her celebratory morning tea.

President’s Preview

Welcome to the Winter 2021 edition of the Scratching Post. I would like to start out by congratulating Tammy Eastley who recently celebrated 35 years at the Cat Centre. What an amazing achievement this is with so many dedicated years of service.

After having read this issue of the Scratching Post, I feel so very proud of all the passionate people who make Ten Lives the organisation that it is today. All of our volunteer team, whether it be animal attendants at the Centre, the retail and sorting teams at our Op Shops, the education team delivering Edu.Cat to schools, the trainee nurses in the vet room or our creative team flooding social media with cute kitty photos, the core reason they all do what they do so well is their dedication to animal welfare and the cats who come to us in need.

I hope you enjoy this issue and finding out more about the people behind the pussycats!
