Adopt Portia

Meet Portia! Portia is a beautiful fluff ball! She just loves sitting next to you or on your lap and is an absolute purr machine! She loves playing with a ball and also in a tunnel. Portia can be a little shy at first, but once she is used to her surroundings and has built trust with you, she won't take her eyes off you and will want to be around you always. In foster care she loved laying next to her special human in bed and would happily snuggle up there for the night. Portia needs a quiet home where she can get all the love and attention she craves. Portia has had dental surgery to remove the fractured left upper canine tooth she had when she came to the Centre. The remaining teeth have been cleaned and polished. With an appropriate diet and ongoing good health it is possible she will not require further dental treatment but monitoring of dental health by a vet annually is recommended. Portia has white ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell. Portia is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
