Adopt Moonbeam

Meet Moonbeam! Moonbeam is a calm and gentle lady, who loves to settle down on a soft, snuggly blanket and watch the world go by from the safety of her cat tower. Whilst Moonbeam can be a little shy to start off with, she soon becomes super smoochy and loving towards her favourite human. She especially loves scratches around her ears, head and chin but would prefer not to be picked up. Moonbeam would love a quiet home that suits her calm personality. We are unsure how Moonbeam feels about living with other animals so if she were to share her new home, we reccomend slow, gentle introductions for the best chance of success. Moonbeam has white ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep her indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell. She also has a mild build up of plaque/tartar on her teeth, which does not require any treatment at this stage. The correct diet can be important to stop the dental health from going downhill. For example, Hills T/D food is able to remove low grade plaque/tartar in order to prevent the need for dental treatment in the future. For all cats monitoring of dental health by a vet annually is recommended. Moonbeam is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
