Ten Lives Cat Centre is Tasmania’s largest cat shelter. We need your help to spread the word far and wide about what we do, and to showcase the kitties looking for their new families.
Right now, we need volunteers to assist our Marketing and Communications department to schedule posts on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
Working with our photo team, you will have access to a wide range of media to inspire your creativity. Use your writing skills to come up with the purrfect caption to let each kitties’ purrsonality shine through with the goal of getting them adopted.
This opportunity will suit candidates interested in applying these skills:
- Creating and scheduling social media posts from media provided.
- Writing engaging captions that showcase cats needing a home.
- There are further opportunities for article writing on our website, newsletters, and magazine.
Joining our Creative Team is a great opportunity for those wishing to use their skills to give back to the community, and also for those wanting to get started in a career in social media coordination or content production.
All training and support is provided as part of our volunteer program.
Many of our tasks can be completed remotely once you complete your induction, though plenty of time can be spent at the Centre interreacting with the cats!
Applicants must be over 18.
Applicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week ongoing.
