Join the Ten Lives Margate Op Shop Family!

Great news for Margate! Our Op Shop trading hours will soon be extended to 5:00pm, and we need friendly folks to help fill the afternoon shift from 2:30pm–5:00pm. It’s a great way to spend a few hours each week making a real difference for the environment, animal welfare and our local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Treasure Hunter: Sort, price, and display pre-loved gems just waiting for a new home.
• People Person: Welcome customers with a smile and help them find that perfect something.
• Cat Companion: Spend time with our resident cats — they’re as much a part of the team as we are!
• Creative Eye: Put your flair for display to good use making the shop look amazing.
• Team Spirit: Be part of a friendly crew who love what they do and have a laugh along the way.

Why You’ll Love It

• Feel Good Factor: Every sale helps cats in care and supports our local community.
• Learn & Grow: Build retail and customer service skills in a supportive environment.
• Furry Friends: There’s nothing like a cat cuddle to brighten your day.
• Flexible & Fun: We’ll work around your schedule — it’s about enjoying your time here.
