Meet Mabel 🐾 Mabel is a lovely 8 year and 9 month old tabby girl with a gentle nature and a quiet charm all of her own. While she's friendly and enjoys the company of people, Mabel is the type of cat who likes to take her time getting to know new faces and surroundings. When she first arrives in a new home, Mabel may be a little timid and prefer to observe from a safe distance while she settles in. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, her confidence grows and her sweet personality begins to shine. Mabel enjoys companionship but also values her independence and personal space. She's not a cat who will demand constant attention, instead preferring to spend time with her people on her own terms. Whether she's relaxing nearby, keeping an eye on household activities, or enjoying a quiet nap in a cosy spot, Mabel is a wonderful companion to have around. Mabel is overweight. Ideally she would be on a weight loss food such as Hills Metabolic food, however she has not been keen to eat it here in the shelter environment. Once she is settled into her new home we recommend transitioning her to a weight loss diet. She is looking for a patient home that will allow her to settle in at her own pace and appreciate her gentle, independent nature.
