Meet Percy 🐾🤎
Percy is an incredibly friendly and affectionate 11-month-old tabby boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He loves being around his people and isn't shy about showing his affection, happily snuggling up beside you on the couch and even tucking his head under your chin while you relax in front of the TV. If you're looking for a cat who genuinely enjoys human company, Percy is sure to steal your heart.
This playful young man is always ready for fun and absolutely thrives on attention. His favourite game is chasing a feather wand, leaping and pouncing with impressive enthusiasm. Percy is an active and intelligent cat who enjoys staying busy and entertained. He gets along well with dogs and has enjoyed chasing and playing with his canine friends, making him a potential match for a dog-friendly home.
Percy is also quite the character. He's known for his early morning bursts of energy and may occasionally practice his lounge room and kitchen parkour skills before breakfast! Despite his outgoing nature, he does appreciate having a quiet place to retreat to when he's ready for a deep sleep and some downtime.
One of Percy's biggest interests is the outdoors. He is fascinated by everything happening beyond the window and loves watching the world go by from a secure vantage point. Because of his curiosity and tendency to look for escape opportunities, Percy will need a safe indoor home with plenty of enrichment and secure access to fresh air, such as a cat enclosure or screened windows.
Percy is an enthusiastic player and occasionally gets carried away during games, sometimes using his mouth or paws in excitement. This is easily managed by redirecting him onto toys and providing plenty of interactive play and enrichment. He is a clever boy who enjoys engaging with his people and responds well when given appropriate outlets for his energy.
Percy previously had a condition called entropion, where part of the eyelid turns inward. This has been surgically corrected, and he is currently doing very well. However, as he matures and ages, there is a possibility that further surgery may be required in the future if changes to his facial structure affect the eyelids again.
Percy also has a preference for clay-based litter. To help him feel comfortable and maintain his excellent toileting habits, we recommend continuing to use clay litter in his new home.
With his affectionate nature, playful spirit, and entertaining personality, Percy is sure to bring laughter, companionship, and plenty of love to his new home.
Percy is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
