Say hello to Nigella! Nigella is a stunning tortoiseshell lady with a big personality, plenty of confidence, and enough energy to keep life interesting. Equal parts playful adventurer and devoted companion, she loves being involved in whatever her people are doing and has a wonderful knack for making herself part of the action. This beautiful girl is the perfect blend of clingy and independent. She's happy to do her own thing when it suits her, but she also enjoys being near her favourite humans and will gladly keep you company throughout the day. Whether she's supervising household tasks or simply relaxing nearby, Nigella likes to be where the people are. Playtime is one of Nigella's favourite activities, and she approaches it with enthusiasm and plenty of energy. She can sometimes become a little overexcited during play and may give playful "love bites" or nibbles. This behaviour has been successfully managed through redirection and offering appropriate play opportunities. Her new family should be prepared to continue redirecting this behaviour onto toys and other appropriate outlets as needed. Nigella is also highly food motivated, which makes treats and food-based enrichment a great way to engage her clever mind. One of her more unique quirks is her love of drinking from flowing water, so don't be surprised if she develops a fascination with running taps or water fountains. Nigella did have an episode of inappropriate toileting whilst in foster care. However, when provided with paper litter, she used her litter tray without any issues. Like many cats, Nigella is particularly fastidious and likes her litter area kept clean and tidy. Some cats may choose to toilet outside the tray if it has already been used, so providing multiple litter trays can help prevent this. Nigella especially likes her litter to be deep so she can thoroughly cover everything when she's finished. To help her continue her excellent litter habits, we recommend providing paper litter and at least two litter trays in her new home. Confident, playful, affectionate, and full of character, Nigella is looking for a home that will appreciate her lively personality and give her plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. Nigella is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
