Adopt Lavender

Say hello to Lavender! Lavender is a chatty girl who will request attention by rubbing around your legs and meowing. She is a smoochy and loving lady who will accept chin scratches for as long as you're willing to give them! Lavender has previously lived with another cat and cat-friendly dog, so may be willing to share her new home with another animal companion. We always recommend slow gentle introductions for best possible outcomes. Lavender is overweight and looking for an adopter who is willing to take her health seriously. We are managing her weight loss with Hills Metabolic food; 1/3 cup AM and 1/3 cup PM. One sachet of Metabolic wet food can be added, per day, if not eating the dry food well. We recommended continuing with this in her new home until she reaches her ideal weight of around 5-5.5kg. Once her ideal weight is reached, the food amount per day is increased to a maintenance amount. It is important for Lavender to be at a healthy weight, especially for her joint and heart health. We are happy for the adopter to keep in touch regarding progress of the weight loss. Please speak to our friendly staff for more information. Lavender is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
