Adopt Dexten

Meet Dexten! Dexten is a handsome tabby boy. He is friendly to everyone, human and feline. He doesn't mind being held, loves to be on your lap, and purrs as soon as he sees you. He loves to have the top of his head scratched, he will roll on his back, but will kick if you touch his belly. He will weave between your legs, so could be a trip hazard, or could knock someone over with his enthusiastic head bumps. He does like to have room to run, and some toy mice and balls to play with. He does love his food, you will have to be strict with him, and not give in and feed him whenever he wants. This cat has had cat flu during his/her time in our care. Cat flu is common and many cats have had it at some stage in their life. The common flu viruses tend to stay in the cats system and may flare up again in the future, especially in times of stress. Symptoms may include: sneezing, watery/squinty eyes, nasal discharge. We recommend your cat keep up to date with their vaccinations, as this may help reduce the severity of symptoms. Dexten is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
