Meet Gilly! Gilly is a beautiful Tabby girl with a heart of gold and a lot of kitten energy! Gilly loves a quick cuddle and then off to play! Gilly loves sleeping on the bottom of the bed, purrs near your toes while you watch TV, and is content to snooze behind the laptop. Gilly is full of fun. Grab a sheet and create a kitten fort, it will amuse her for hours! She chases her tail on the arm of a chair. She is great with kids and loves to run after balls or bell toys. She does require a little more encouragement to not view hands as toys, but is easily redirected with toys and treats. Gilly loves to play and snuggle with other cats and was affectionate towards the dog in foster care. Gilly had an episode of inappropriate toileting whilst in foster care. When given clay litter substrate she used the litter tray without any issues. She did urinate in the shower but when access was restricted she used her tray. Gilly is particularly fastidious (clean) and will toilet outside the tray if it has been used already that day. We recommend continuing to provide Gilly with 3 x trays filled with clay litter to avoid any inappropriate toileting in the future. This cat has had cat flu during his/her time in our care. Cat flu is common and many cats have had it at some stage in their life. The common flu viruses tend to stay in the cats system and may flare up again in the future, especially in times of stress. Symptoms may include: sneezing, watery/squinty eyes, nasal discharge. We recommend your cat keep up to date with their vaccinations, as this may help reduce the severity of symptoms. Gilly is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
