Meet Lucille! Lucille is a very sweet tabby girl. She's a relaxed girl who is in no great hurry to get anywhere - except perhaps your lap for some love and affection! If you want a relaxed companion, someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day's work, I'm the cat for you! Feline acne is the overproduction of the sebaceous gland on the chin. It is relatively common. Acne can present as excessive greasiness or black flecks on the chin, which may be mistaken for flea dirt. This cats' feline acne is not currently causing any discomfort. If the skin on the chin becomes red, inflamed or pustules appear see your Veterinarian. In severe cases antibiotics and/or medicated washes may be required. This cat has a mild build up of plaque/tartar on his/her teeth, which does not require any treatment at this stage. The correct diet can be important to stop the dental health from going downhill. For example, Hills T/D food is able to remove low grade plaque/tartar in order to prevent the need for dental treatment in the future. For all cats monitoring of dental health by a vet annually is recommended. Lucille is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
