Meet Lacey! Lacey is a beautiful velvety soft lady. She took a couple of days to settle in foster care. After a full exploration of all the nooks and crannies of our home. She was ready to get to know us and smooch and sit on our laps. She will greet you with endless smooches and purrs at the end of the day if she has been home alone or snooze next to you on on your lap if you are working from home. Lacey also loves to play. She is an expert at hide and seek but also loves to play with balls and lego other toys. She likes a cubby house too. She did well with older children but might be too shy or boisterous with younger children. Unsure how she would go with other cats or dogs. She does have a habit of sneaking up and running between your legs so maybe not great for someone with mobility issues. Lacey has a mild build up of plaque/tartar on his/her teeth, which does not require any treatment at this stage. The correct diet can be important to stop the dental health from going downhill. For example, Hills T/D food is able to remove low grade plaque/tartar in order to prevent the need for dental treatment in the future. For all cats monitoring of dental health by a vet annually is recommended. Lacey has white ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell. Lacey is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
