Adopt Beau

Meet Beau Beau is a lovely tabby and white fella! He is super friendly and affectionate. Beau is an active boy, He is very playful and likes room to use up his energy e.g. galloping, jumping and running. He can be very affectionate and will enjoy a snooze in the sun. He likes to have company but doesn't fret if he is left to his own devices. He really enjoys a lap and pats in the evening. This cat is FIV positive, because of this he is not suited to a home with other cats. (Please refer to information sheet for this condition). We are unsure how he feels about dogs and children, so would recommend slow gentle introductions for the best possible outcomes, if he were to share his new space. This cat has had cat flu during his time in our care. Cat flu is common and many cats have had it at some stage in their life. The common flu viruses tend to stay in the cats system and may flare up again in the future, especially in times of stress. Symptoms may include: sneezing, watery/squinty eyes, nasal discharge (his right nostril is slightly smaller than left). We recommend your cat keep up to date with their vaccinations, as this may help reduce the severity of symptoms. This cat has white fur on their ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell. Beau is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
