The Role
We’re looking for friendly, capable volunteers to support our Intake & Foster Counter, helping ensure cats, kittens and foster carers are welcomed, supported and kept moving smoothly through their appointments.
This role works closely with the Welfare Team and is a mix of people interaction, practical tasks and general upkeep of busy welfare spaces.
Shifts
8:00am – 12:00pm, Monday to Friday
12:00pm – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Tasks Include
- Greet foster carers dropping cats and kittens off for veterinary appointments
- Collect basic information about cats’ behaviour and health at the time of drop-off
- Act as a runner for counter staff, gathering food, litter, bedding and other supplies
- Assist foster carers with additional supplies as needed
- Print forms, booklets, calendars and training resources
- Restock and tidy the foster supply area
- Decant food into appropriate containers
- Clean and maintain welfare offices, reception, kitchen and bathrooms
- Empty bins, vacuum and mop floors as required
