Ten Lives’ popular winter festival, Dark Meowfo, has been put in doubt for 2024, with festival organisers saying they hoping for a “full return” in 2025.
Dark Meowfo’s artistic director Joel Diprose made the announcement at the New Town shelter on Friday morning.
The 2023 festival continued to face a public backlash, with the controversial inverted paw, wall of noses and the poo machine artistic installations.
2023 left an indelible mark, with the festival attracting many visitors to the centre resulting in numerous kitty performers finding their furever homes.
