Richmond
Richmond Community Cat Management Project

Richmond was Ten Lives’ first self-contained community cat management project and remains an important demonstration of how a defined hotspot can be approached through consultation, monitoring, responsible ownership support and targeted activity.
The project has also provided the practical template now referred to as the Richmond Process.
In 2026, the project entered a second phase, building on the work begun in 2020 with renewed community consultation and monitoring used to identify roaming cat hotspots and guide targeted action.
