Meet Joani!
If you're looking for a kitten who prefers cuddles over play, Joani is your gal. While Joani and her sisters shared a love of ping-pong balls, small plushies like the ice cream, and the octopus wand toy - Joani is also a Velcro-kitten. She loves lolling in your arms, being up under your chin or wrapped around your neck like a scarf. She communicates with purrs and if you don't pick her up, she makes the choice for you.
She will thrive in an active home offering love and attention. She 100% lives in the moment and is extremely accepting of all that comes her way. With slow introductions, she would possibly adapt to a household with a suitable furry friend, however, be aware that Joani has FOMO (fear of missing out). She oftentimes chased her sisters to get to the exciting thing they were doing - her favourite meal was usually what her sister was eating (spoiler: the food was the same). If she's heading to a home with a furry friend, they, like their new human, will need to accept the reality that Joani has no concept of personal space.
Joani was one of four kittens that came to our centre with flu. As the smallest of the litter, it's taken Joani longer to recover than her siblings - she's only recently found her little meow. Cat flu is common and many cats have had it at some stage in their life. The common flu viruses tend to stay in the cat's system and may flare up again in the future, especially in times of stress. We recommend your cat keep up to date with their vaccinations, as this may help reduce the severity of symptoms.
Joani is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
