Adopt Tofu

Say hello to Tofu! Tofu is a gentle soul with a loud and ready purr. He doesn't want to be picked up or cuddled but if startled, will race to his people's feet to feel safe and protected. Tofu has white ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell. He doesn't enjoy the noise or unpredictability of children but he spent time in foster with a cat friendly dog. Tofu has had cat flu during his time in our care. Cat flu is common and many cats have had it at some stage in their life. Please speak to our friendly staff if you'd like to know about this. His favourite toys are a paper ball, which he definitely will shred and a fishing line toy that is enthusiastically bounced for him. He is the sweetest boy who will thrive in a quiet home. Tofu, like many cats, is particularly fastidious (clean) and may toilet outside the tray if it has been used already that day. Providing multiple trays (at least 2) resolved/ prevented him from toileting outside the tray. Tofu is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
