Adopt Boss

Meet Boss! This sweet boy has a big personality and an even bigger love for attention. He is incredibly affectionate and will happily follow you around the house, always wanting to be part of whatever you are doing! He absolutely loves head rubs and enjoys being close to his people. He is very confident settling into new environments easily. He is also very active and playful, so he would thrive in a home where he has space to explore and stay stimulated. Boss has tested negative to FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency virus). However, risk factors (e.g entire male, fight wounds or outdoor cat) means that there is a small chance that they may have been exposed to the virus shortly before arriving at the centre and may test positive at a later date. He also has a low grade heart murmur, the murmur has been assessed by our vets as mild and is currently asymptomatic. We recommend regular monitoring of the murmur by your veterinarian. Boss spent time with other cats in foster care and may be happy to share his space with a feline companion. He is also quite vocal and will happily chat with you throughout the day! Boss' lower right canine tooth rests on his upper lip due to having its upper counterpart removed. While not currently causing any irritation, we would like to check the tooth and lip in late May and again in June to ensure it remains comfortable and ulcer free. While he loves attention and affection, he prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and does not enjoy being picked up or held. He shows his love in other ways, by staying close, seeking head rubs, and following his humans everywhere! Boss is desexed, microchipped and toilet trained. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
