Meet Tommy! Tommy is a very handsome boy with a snow-white coat. This big, soft and sweet kitty is looking for his forever home - one where he gets to be your one and only, with no other cats, dogs or children. He loves having people all to himself! He would be happiest in a quiet home, with someone who is home lots to be with him. Especially as he settles into his new space. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle boy to brighten your days, then Tommy could be the match for you. Tommy has a preference for soft litter substrate such as clay or paper. Tommy has white ears and a pale nose which are more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Tommy has grade 1 luxating patella in the left knee, a condition in which the knee-cap (patella) temporarily dislocates or moves out of its normal position. There are no other abnormalities detected with the joints, and the cat is currently asymptomatic ie the condition is not causing any pain or lameness. There is no need for treatment at this stage, however luxating patellas can mean they are more prone to developing arthritis. We recommend yearly vet checks at your regular vet to monitor the condition. Tommy is desexed, microchipped and desexed. Vaccinations, flea and worm treatments are up to date.
