Vela is a beautiful 5‑year‑old black and white girl with a gentle nature and a sweet personality that shines once she feels safe and comfortable. She can be a little timid when first settling into a new home and prefers to take her time getting to know new people and surroundings.

While Vela isn't overly demanding of attention, she has a wonderfully affectionate side that emerges once she trusts you. Given time and patience, she becomes incredibly smoochy and loves spending time with her favourite people, soaking up pats and attention on her own terms.

Vela would thrive in a calm, quiet household where she can settle in at her own pace. Because she can be sensitive to noise and activity, she would be best suited to a home without young children.

This lovely lady is looking for a patient family who will appreciate her gentle personality and allow her confidence to continue to grow.

Vela has a mild build-up of plaque/tartar on her teeth, which does not require any treatment at this stage.

Vela has a pale nose which is more prone to developing sunburn and skin cancers. The best way to minimize UV exposure is keep them indoors and avoid direct sunlight between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Cat friendly sunscreen is available but DO NOT use human sunscreen on your cat as it could be toxic and make them very unwell.
